I almost never go to Bele Chere, because a crowded street festival in the blazing sun in the hottest part of the year is not my idea of a good time. But (a) this is supposed to be its last year, and (b) the Mountain Goats were playing, so I went for a while today. I am so glad I did! Much fun. They closed with this one -- very nice.

... until I realized that in the last 17 months it had counted 5.3 million steps. Plus sporadic use in the couple of years before that; call it 6 million. It outlasted half a dozen pairs of shoes, anyway.

I don't do a lot of real cooking, just very basic stuff. The other day I got it into my head to make crepes, which I haven't made in years. Turned out well! Mmmm. Cream cheese and blueberries for the filling, but I have enough left over to try something else in them for dinner.

Just finished my first yoga class ever. It's hard! I don't seem to be very good at breathing.

Still, good experience. I think I'll go back next week.

Just been really busy with RL (and between fandoms, which is a bit lonely). I am sad but relieved but sad that my big-ass road trip is almost over. I still have a lot of ground to cover, but the end is on the horizon.
